How do I shoot RAW?
Tap the format button in the top-left corner and choose RAW, RAW+HEIC or RAW+JPEG. With Natural processing Aperto keeps the sensor's own DNG; with Apple processing, Pro iPhones capture Apple ProRAW. Some lenses (for example, some front cameras) don't offer RAW — Aperto then saves a HEIC and tells you.
How does Night mode work?
In the dark it turns on by itself: the moon button lights up. Hold still while the ring around the shutter fills — Aperto merges up to 16 RAW frames into one clean photo, without AI. On a stand it uses longer frames. Tap the moon to switch between Auto (A), On and Off.
How do I edit a photo?
Tap the thumbnail, then the slider button. Light, colour, detail, looks and crop; RAW files are re-developed. Save adds an edited copy to Photos — the original is never changed. Before your first shot, the thumbnail opens a photo from your library.
How do I open Aperto with Camera Control?
On iPhone 16 and later: Settings › Camera › Camera Control › Launch Camera, then choose Aperto. It opens with the button, even from the Lock Screen.
Where are my photos?
In the Photos app. A RAW+HEIC shot appears as one photo with a RAW badge.
Why can't I change EV?
Exposure compensation works while ISO and shutter are automatic. When you set them manually, the EV chip turns into a meter that shows how far you are from a normal exposure. Tap AUTO to return to automatic exposure.
Do looks change my RAW files?
No. Looks and 1:1 / 16:9 framing are applied to the HEIC or JPEG only. RAW files are always saved untouched and full-frame.
Is Aperto really free?
Yes, every photography feature is free. Optional tips support the project and unlock extra app icons.

Вопросы, ошибки и идеи — пишите на [email protected]. RAW включается кнопкой формата в левом верхнем углу; стили и кадрирование применяются только к HEIC/JPEG, RAW сохраняется без изменений.
Ночной режим включается сам в темноте (луна загорается); держите телефон неподвижно, пока заполняется кольцо вокруг затвора. Кнопка с луной переключает Авто (A), Вкл и Выкл. Редактор открывается кнопкой с ползунками в просмотре снимков; правки сохраняются новой копией, оригинал не меняется. Чтобы открывать Aperto кнопкой камеры на iPhone 16 и новее: Настройки › Камера › Контроллер камеры › Запустить камеру → Aperto.
